With only one stop left, several skiers tied for last Finals spots

There is only one stop – Wolfeboro on Aug. 23 – left to qualify for the biggest Northeast Slalom Series finals ever and there are multiple ties for the final spots in both the adult and junior season standings.

In the adult standings, Adam Largess and JJ Paulovich are tied for the final spot in the finals with 310 points each. So far, Adam is the only one of the two signed up for Wolfeboro (hint hint JJ).

There is even more drama in the junior standings as three skiers – Jack Decker, Addy Byrne and Evelyn Peckham – are tied for the final two spots with 310 points. Theodore Ervin is only 10 points behind them, and for now the only one signed up for Wolfeboro. It is probably safe to assume that Jack will be in Arizona for the start of his freshman year on the ASU Water ski team …

To celebrate its milestone 10th year and for the 2025 season only, the Northeast Slalom Series Presented by Radar Skis adult finals will feature a field of 16 skiers: the eight previous champions (Chris Afonso is the only two-time winner), plus the top-eight (non past champion) qualifiers from the 2025 season standings.
