Only 10 days until the kick off of the 2018 Northeast Slalom Series

Believe it or not, the Northeast Slalom Series (NESS) will kick off it’s 2018 season in 10 days at the John’s Lake 117 tournament in Wantage, NJ. Only a few spots remain in the season opener, so register here soon.

The 2018 iteration of NESS features eight stops in six states, culminating in the head-to-head finals Sept. 1, at Pangaea Puddle. View the full schedule here.

New for 2018, the series will feature two divisions of competition – Adults and Juniors – using NOPS points to level the playing field among speeds and determine placements. So, all adults, men and women, will ski against each other, while all juniors, boys and girls, will compete against each other. At the conclusion of the series, the top 12 adults and four juniors will qualify for the series championships.

The NESS registration fee is $30 for new skiers and $20 for returning skiers if they use their bibs from last year. Juniors are FREE in 2018 (bibs are $10 if they don’t have one from last year). Please register here.

The individual tournament entry fees (i.e. John’s Lake 117, Dubes Pond Classic, etc.) still apply and are payable to each tournament organizer. Signing up for NESS DOES NOT register you for the individual tournaments, you must still enter them as normal. NESS participants do not have priority entry, so get your registrations in early to ensure you get in.
