NESS season standings updated after stop No. 2

The season standings after the second stop on the 2018 Northeast Slalom Series look very similar to what they did after stop No. 1; John Autore remains on top.

John took second out of 23 adult NESS skiers at the Pre-Regionals Warm Up (click here for results) to tally a whopping 220 points. When combined with the 80 points he earned after topping the field at stop No. 1 he has a commanding 300 points after only two stops.

The NESS kids’ division is a little more muddled, as three skiers – Austin Stein, Abby Campfield and Brendan O’Brien – are tied atop the standings with 40 points each.

The results from stop No. 3, which took place July 15 at the Russ Cole Massachusetts State Championships in Oakham, Mass., will be added to the season standings shortly.
