J.J. Paulovich served up some home cooking at last weekend’s Twin Lakes Spring 3-event tournament to take an early lead in the Adults division of the 2019 Northeast Slalom Series.

J.J.’s top score of 4 buoys at 38-feet off (1,000 NOPS points) was good enough to top a 14-skier Adult division.  Dan Warner (986 NOPS points) finished a half buoy behind J.J. to finish second on the day, while defending 2018 NESS season champion Dana Hinman (877 NOPS points) and Shannah Pochin (720 NOPS points) rounded out the top-four.

In the Junior division, Brendan O’Brien scored 2 at 28 off (805 NOPS points) to take the win and earn 30 NOPS points.

NESS Stop No. 2 will take place June 29th at John’s Lake in Wantage, NJ. At the conclusion of the seven-stop series, the top 12 adults and four juniors will qualify for the series championship, August 31st at Pangaea.
